CPR helps the body continue to circulate blood and oxygen through the brain to keep it alive when the body is unable to breathe by itself. It is crucial to do this within the first four minutes because the survival rate of the person is greater. So the longer the brain and the body do not have oxygen the less chance for the person to survive. The percentage of success decreases by the second. Thus, there will always be a greater chance to survive if at least one person in each household knows how to administer CPR.

Where does one go to learn CPR? Well, there are a lot of places where you can go to learn CPR. Actually you can learn it at home through a CPR video. You can also go to any health center and ask if they offer CPR courses. There are some who offer teaching life saving skills to people who are interested. You will be able to earn yourself a CPR Certification. The important thing is you learn how to do CPR, more than the certification.
